Interton has introduced six new products in the last six months, which form the basis for a complete update of their product portfolio. All the new products are based on the GN group's oproven platform - and a new concept for affordable hearing care: Essential hearing. A new corporate look and feel backs it all up.
Founded in Germany in 1962, Interton is now part of the GN Group one of the world’s largest hearing aid suppliers. So Interton can now use proven GN core technology as the basis for its straightforward, functional and easy-to-use hearing solutions, always offered at fair prices.
"We’re introducing the Essential Hearing concept along with a complete corporate image overhaul that backs it up. The new image is based on the colors grey and yellow. Grey is the traditional Interton color, and yellow symbolizes the Essential Hearing promise: Good-quality hearing aids at fair prices," says marketing manager Jesper Gorm. "The corporate image shapes are inspired by one of the most essential aspects of hearing: the fitting range."
Six new product families
Interton is introducing six new product families under the Essential Hearing concept: Avio (which includes Avio1,Avio3 and Avio5), Start, Elipse and Interton Bodyworn.
The Interton Avio series
represents the biggest launch in Interton’s history. It consists of three complete families at three different price points (basic, comfort and premium). All feature the same hardware, and fi tting software, and each features its own variety of great features, such as Auto-Steered Directionality, Adaptive Feedback Cancellation, Learning Volume Control, Acclimatization Manager, Environmental Gain Tuner.
"Of course, not all products include every feature, as they are in different price points, but all products are very well equipped for hearing impaired people," says Director Morten Hansen.
The launch of Interton Start
marks the return of the truly affordable feature-rich hearing system. Interton Start offers all the functionality users need at prices everyone can afford. Features include noise suppression, directionality and programs for various environments. There is a full array of form factors, including ITEs, standard BTE and power BTEs.
Interton Elipse is a new digital super power BTE for people with severe and profound hearing losses who cannot – or will not – spend a fortune on hearing aids. Elipse delivers maximum volume and goes up to 86 dB gain and 145 dB output (IEC 118-0). What’s more, the battery lasts up to 685 hours.

"With the updated portfolio and, not least, the spring launch of the Avio series, we can already see a clear global growth for the Interton brand," Morten Hansen says.
